Kokam High Power Lithium Polymer Cells

Post by Sutho »

Hi All,

We have a direct account with Kokam that enables us to purchase their high power LiPo cells at much better prices than previously found. These cells have a high energy density and high discharge rates.

We are about to place an order for a reasonable quantity of cells for our projects. Higher quantities help justify our relationship with Kokam, so let me know if anyone wants any cells for their projects?

The cells have a nominal voltage of 3.7V and are available in a variety of capacities.

See: http://www.kokam.com/new/kokam_en/sub01/sub01_01.html

Pricing is $0.85 + GST per Wh (i.e. 12Ah cell = 3.7 x 12 x 0.80 = $37.74 + GST)

If interested email me at info@sungearaustralia.com.au

Note that Kokam also offer assembled modules.

Cheers,
Sutho

That's a pretty good price! Does the 85c/Wh + GST include shipping from Korea? Bit of a shame they don't have a higher C-rate, but that's the trade off eh?

Oh, I hear you supply RMS inverters too?

As we are already getting a good quantity of cells shipped out, freight to Newcastle is covered for this order.

I have seen information from Kokam and others that have tested their cells that would indicate that their quoted C-rates are quite conservative.

Yes....we can supply Rinehart motor controllers. Have you ordered yours yet?
