I'm in the market for a BYD battery pack from a wreck. I fortunately have some not so technical contacts located in China and they to try source one or more complete salvage packs.
For my EV conversion, I can see a really good fit for blade cell dimensions, if they are the 202Ah versions. That's a pretty big "if".
Found this teardown video of what looks like a pack from the Han model. 2020 battery build date and only has the 135Ah version. If I can find out which BYD models use the larger 202Ah capacity blade cells, then I might have a chance of directing my China based contact on how to source the correct pack (s).
If anyone has any ideas on where to get the best info or already knows, would really appreciate any info. Fortunately I have plenty of time to source this, and I have other battery options. The blade form factor is appealing along with the LiFeSO4 chemistry.
