For those using OpenEVSE:

1. I purchased the improved 32bit WiFi module and installed seamlessly.

2. There have been some glitches in the firmware to do with start/pause charging buttons in the GUI.

3. They have been working on the GUI version 2. It is looking pretty good. It is snappier and they have divided up functions and settings more logically.

If anyone wants to try it, here is the link. You want the second .bin file from the bottom. As of this post, last updated 2 days ago and they are seeking feedback. All my settings transitioned without problem (and you can go back to the V1 firmware without problem). One of these days I'll try the Tesla integration. However I really would not be likely to use it.

Wow. That update is very Schmick. And all my settings and previous data carried across too. The way the On/Auto🤖/Off is displayed makes much more sense. I wonder if the push button on the case will do something more useful now...

There are still some gremlins with the new UI. But that's why they are getting people to test and comment. Overall, looking good.
