G’day folks
We have bought what appears to be a Kinetic brand motor and a Kelly controller. There is no plate or name on the motor. We did a Google image search and we think it is a Kinetic brand based on the grille around the brushes, however we didn’t get a link to a website with info on old motors. Is the Wayback machine my only option pls?

Can you put some photos up? I'm sure we can identify it.

Thanks Chris. Here are a couple of shots. Apparently it came out of a Vitara, which has been converted back to petrol.

Well that would have been a backward step
Looks like a fairly ubiquitous forklift motor.

Yeah that's what I thought at first but the ADC motor's I've seen have the vent+brushes at the rear of the motor.
And the rear of the motor isn't a solid plate against the body.
Its also short for an 8" motor.
I was trying to find if there was info on the vitara conversion.
Could always test the motor?!?

So this is interesting. The photos in this thread are as supplied by the seller and are of the motor we bought. I note that there is a very similar motor for sale on this forum in the classified section. viewtopic.php?f=34&t=6114
It even has the same builder's level holding it up. I'm going to guess someone has cornered the market for ex-Vitara motors!
