Looking forward to watching this return to its former glory! Former EV glory of course.

Re: Michael's Lotus Elise
This Lotus Elise 111S has an interesting history.
2002 Manufacture in the UK by Lotus with a 1.8L naturally aspirated engine and 5 speed gearbox.
2011 Converted to EV in Adelaide, South Australia.
2017 Battery expires and car taken off the road.
2018 I make contact with the Melbourne owner and start negations.
2019 I purchase the car and transport it to Sydney, New South Wales.
The original EV conversion of the car was pretty simple/standard and it has been unloved for some time, so it is pretty ugly at the moment. Not like my MR2 which was terribly pampered a really nice conversion.
So currently stripping out all the ugly, and planning an awesome rebuild!

Super exciting project. Can’t wait to see how it all works out. Out of interest where did you get the Leaf modules from? I wouldn’t mind using them in my project

Re: Michael's Lotus Elise
I believe this was for sale on evilbay many moons back but I wasn't allowed to buy it then ..... bugga, it would have been great to bring it back to SA where it was built when we moved over here. The one who controls the finances said it was just a toy with not enough range and no practical use .... not like handbags and shoes eh

Re: Michael's Lotus Elise
The Leaf modules came out of my old car, I have had them for several years.
