So I took the iPace for a drive the other weekend, and it was a nice car.
Seats were nice, the screen was....average, but nice. Although lacking in features (Such as finding chargers, apparently that's not important)
But overall, the one thing that stood out to me, and I'm not sure if I imagined it, was that there seemed to be a subtle fake ICE noise in the cabin?
One thing that put me off was the salesman sitting there and rubbishing Tesla as their direct competitor, would not stop talking smack on them.
But what are others thoughts on the iPace?

Re: Thoughts on the iPace
General consensus it's a great EV but does lack efficiency on the drivetrain. The fake noise can be switched off.Kasterborus wrote: ↑Sun, 26 May 2019, 07:42 So I took the iPace for a drive the other weekend, and it was a nice car.

Re: Thoughts on the iPace
They are supposed to be launched later this year?
There was one whose drivers door and mirror was damaged. And repaired now.
Originally it was at Southern Jaguar Land Rover Cannington.
It then went down to Bunbury Jaguar Land Rover.
There are a few demos for sale on Carsales over East.
It is probably great for current / prospective Jag owners.
Probably seniors who have worked their whole life and don't want to end up in a Hyundai / Kia / Nissan / Mitsubishi / Renault
I wouldn't get a Jag due to the movie Crazy People - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crazy_People
Wading depth is 1/2m. Impressive. This would kill a Model X.
Ipace has won
a) 2019 World Car of the Year
b) 2019 World Car Design of the Year
c) 2019 World Green Car
so perhaps they've done something right?
One way to pick an ipace out from an epace is the flush door handles
Best not to get gen 1 items.
I know this from experience, check out my Volt / BMW i3 Rex feedback.
