Picked up Kona from Aspley on Saturday, great service and buying experience
Went to several chargers to check how it all works and check app and cards.
We went on a drive to Tweed Heads and back home a total of just over 600 km charging several times for practice.
As my wife will mainly drive the car she did most of the driving and said that it was the easiest new car to drive that she has had and just loves it and all the driving assist features
We are planning a trip to Ballina in the Kona in a few weeks
All up we love the Kona and would not change anything about it.
Picked up our Launch Kona EV today. Had to drive about 50km from dealer to get home, so had a few different conditions to try, including dragging a Porsche 911 at the lights (and keeping up till I bailed at speed limit).
I agree with above , it was the easiest new car I have driven. Everything works, including lane keep assist which I didn’t know was turned on but was intuitive to deal with.
Will update as I discover new things.
Of note: dealer had to “update” car software for the autolink software to recognise VIN
Received my juice Booster 2 charger which i will use at home to charge as i have a 32a 3phase outlet already and will take it away with me.
Have removed the Kona charger as the juice Booster 2 charger is quicker on standard house outlet than Kona one
We are now set up to charge anywhere.
Will let you know how it goes.

First free service tomorrow
Car going great apart from the off peak charging problem.
Will check with dealer if there is a fix yet.
Will notify here if there is.
Pickup my Highlander from Doncaster Hyundai on Friday. Enjoyed the test drive.
They were unaware of any... charging scheduling problems... and rang the "tech expert" at Hyundai ,who was also unaware of any problem.
So am sending them the link to the thread on this forum and speakEV.
They might be more inclined to follow up as I have not yet paid.
Had charging software updated today, have yet to test it but Doncaster Hyundai say it is OK.
They also update Navigon
Also provided me with a printout of the Heat Pump system (with booster) fitted to the car.
When charging at home I have got used to using a standard timer plugged into the wall socket.
Connect to the car and check that is charging then switch the power Off. Get the message "charging interrupted"
Switch the mains on with the clock active and it starts charging again when the timer switches on.
