ADR19 6.9 re the indicators used as hazard warning.
Seems there is NO requirement for the bike to be OFF and flashing.
ie the bike can be ON to flash unlike a car.
So there is NO requirement to have a 12V battery.
Other than isolating the HV traction pack.
But hey if they want 300+ volts running around the bike 24/7 that's their choice.
So I retract my statement about aus compliance.
Not safety tho...
So the short answer is NO but the long answer is YES.
