I dont know if this could be reconfigured as a grid feed energy storage rack but there is 1500 volts of AGM 100 AH batteries with UPS.

125 x 12v 100ah batteries. That's $400ea. You would definitely need to make use of the inverters/ups to make it viable. Good way to drop 3 phase power on a farm/property that doesn't have access to the grid

Re: 1500 volt battery pack . not quite portable
For used lead acid, configured in looong strings. It doesn't look like they've been neglected for long at all. What could possibly go wrong?

Where I used to work, we had 20 12 V modules in series, and had to store them for a few months while the rest of the system was built out. After a while, we thought to run a multimeter over them. Oh dear. Multimeter and charger. Then chargers. In the end, about three were usable. These were 200 Ah monsters, so not trivial to replace, or even to organise recycling. A "simple" BMS for them has been on the "to do" list for a while, I think.
And don't forget the air conditioners, fluoro lights and card table. And man-sized switchesYou would definitely need to make use of the inverters/ups to make it viable.

Well, if with your change out of $50,000 + GST you forked out for 3 sets of 500 V charge controllers and a lot of solar panels.Good way to drop 3 phase power on a farm/property that doesn't have access to the grid
Profit!

Re: 1500 volt battery pack . not quite portable
i emailed the sellers rep , they said the UPS and batteries were commissioned on site end of 2016 , how long it was operated , how many times it was cycled or charged / discharged i dont know but its quite possible the thing could have sat idle for 6 - 12 months too.
before thinking of buying it you would invest in an airline flight to inspect it armed with a voltmeter , 12 V charger and battery load tester if possible.
They are AGM's , made in china but are rated at 10 year service life if you google the battery model number.
The road transport cost alone would be a beech . just wish i could score it for 50 bucks

$50 is much more reasonable maybe even $500 or $5000. But at $50000 there are way too many ways it's not worth it.
I'll give them a carton for it. Hell, I'll be generous and let them choose the brew

Yeah I only saw this as value for money if it was going back out and used for its original purpose.

I checked all 8 pockets of my mining overalls just in case...
If it had a kitchenette and bathroom you could call it a tiny house.
It might make it a more plausible buy then.
