Its been a long time coming... I think discussion started on this in 2008. Finally we managed to bolt a motor on the kart gathering dust in the shed all these years. It has a Motenergy ME1114 PMAC motor and a Sevcon Size 2 80V controller. 24 x Headway 15Ah LiFePO4 cells.
We were doing lap times comparable to the Junior Karts at Wundowie last Saturday, only its second outing so its a promising start.
Who in WA is up for a challenge? Lets get it happening.
