Now have all engineering and stat. approvals for my trike.... it's got a number plate!
This is a major milestone for me. The Australian Design Rules are not a walk in the park, and there is no category for Tilting Vehicles... and they defenitely have some work to do on the Electric Vehicle side of things. However, the trike was passed with no modifications neccesary.
With 1000km already on the clock, I made my first trip to work. 30km used up 60% of the pack - though I was taking it very easy, as I still sufer range anxiety. Was cold, and I had to make a stop for coffee to warm up. But other than that I got to work Grinning. Have it charging outside the Council building (my place of work)... so the trip home is a feebee. Saw my first Tasmanian ZERO on road too by chance heading the other way.
Have facebook page for it now - http://www.facebook.com/m3e.delivery.etrike like it if you will.
....and for those that have not seen the video, follow the linkage...

Have been riding to and from work most days. A real buzz to say the least. Mornings have been frosty cold, but the ride home is much more comfortable. It's amazing the looks and comments I'm getting. Almost every person turns their head - trying to work it out... "What is it?"

Off the road temporarily, but still making progress.
I entered the Australian Innovation Challenge - Backyard category. Photo in the Australian Newspaper is of my entry. Winners to be announced, from small group of finalists, on Dec 11, with the winner taking home $10,000.
More photos yesterday for the story.
Please let it be me.

I really like your Trike.. [ and liked it in FaceBoo... too ].
Would you mind writing the " what you expect " Finished Tilting E Trike
Specs will be. Also the benefits of this design.
eg.
Range : 100km
Top speed : 100km/h
Charge time on Home charger : 4 Hrs { or what you expect }
Charge time for 50 % used battery using onboard : 4Hrs - or what you expect
Etc Etc
Benefits:
Cornering: greater traction during cornering than 2 Wheel Bike.
Manoeuvrability : etc
Stopping : no need to put feet down. etc
Slow travel : no balance difficulties etc
etc Etc
I am hoping this design of yours will move quickly into production.
Would you consider doing kits with Strict licencing agreements of Williams Signage etc after which you provide registering details.?
Cheers, Glenn.

Sorry I had to laugh at the cold comment
As a bike rider in Canberra freezing air traveling at you at 100kph is hell on earth.
If harnessed as a power supply the bike rider shiver could surely extend range lol...
Great work though
Now plan mark 2
