Can anyone confirm what this message is I am getting when i upload a pic to use as an avatar.

Server Error in Forum Application
An error has occurred while uploading file/image.
Please check the Persits AspUpload Component is installed on the server.
Please contact the forum administrator.

Support Error Code:- err_Access_create_AspUpload_object
File Name:- functions_upload.asp

Error details:-
Server object
006~ASP 0177~Server.CreateObject Failed~800401f3

Funny you should mention that - I've just fixed the problem (had to install a component to the forums). This also means you can upload pictures to these forums as well as avatars! Image

EDIT: To upload images and files you must have at least 30 posts or be a confirmed payed-up member of AEVA (edit2: this rule doesn't apply for avatars).

Thank you, It is working now, and the membership cheque is in the mail (well almost, ready to post anyway) Hopefully we get SA up and running soon.

I noticed you expanded the avatars to 128x128 :-)

Yep! It's great isn't it. Some people with custom avatars will need to find a bigger image if it's less than 128x128. For those people using stock avatar pictures it will look slightly blury (but that's what you get for using stock Image )

Please fix mattW's enormous avatar file:
128 x 128 pixels = 754,197 bytes Image
It's 368 bits per pixel, which must be record.
