Wow that looks great! It'll be good to see one in action.
I'll drive an electric vehicle one day.

Looking good.
I notice that Bunnings sell a 25mm wide strap with a grippy buckle that can hold 300kg for AU$8 here (Melbourne). They come in 100cm and 150cm lengths.Carv'n Marv'n wrote:Had a "great idea" to hold the batteries down with a velcro strap - but it's far too stretchy, so at a standstill till I can come up with another method... a strap of some sort.... large cable ties might do it.

Yes but the buckle isn't as bulky as most of them so it would make quite a neat battery strap. I was considering them for my 15kg Headway packs if I can't get the missus to make my webbing straps. They are a bit close to tolerance for me though as a 15kg pack at 20G make 300kg - borderline with engineer.

I can't remember the brand but half of them were marked 100kg and half 300kg - so check.

That's dissapointing - sorry for the bad lead.
Would it help if you placed a piece of flat, firm material over the batteries length wise then strapped that? Say a piece of polycarbonate - no - something firmer.
If not, take 'em back and say they were too stretchy.
BTW - did you make the "electric" chrome badge?

looks great
just wondered if it will be stiff to lay over into a decent lean angle due to having individual shocks ?
i know you would like it to assist you to stand itself back up to a vertical state , so wondered if it might benefit from either a hydraulic valve between two gas shocks set up as a balancing or proportioning valve so it could give you a more free action of travel when you lean the bike to each side , or have a single main shock and a rocker arm pushing down on to both swingarms to give you a more fluid swinging action ?
looks Bl**dy fantastic though , hope you dont take my comments offensively
good luck.

you could swap any two of the phase wires, and the swap the same two hall effect signal wires.
You could otherwise just select reverse on one controller.
