Saw Kym Zubrinich today at John Hughes MG

He said that it was a $2700 option

? But I didn't think that the Australian models would come with an 11 kW on board charger.

For this price, do you get the European 11 kW OBC as well as an on-the-wall EVSE?

Or is this price only for the OBC upgrade, and you provide your own EVSE?

Seems that Kym might have misunderstood me.
The ZS EV facelift comes with an 11kW 3p OBC

It is the 11kW 3p wallbox that costs $2500 installed.

I guess we will see in July.

Can someone else confirm with their MG dealer if the ZS EV facelift has an 11kW 3p OBC

My understanding is mine will be coming with a 7kW 32A single phase OBC - If it comes with a 11kW one, I hope it is happy to auto switch back to single phase, as I only have single phase here - and at my parents farm in the country where I will want to be able to do a 7kW charge - and I have bought a single phase EVSE.

From memory of reading the UK MG forum, the bigger battery car gets a 11kw OBC whilst the smaller battery car that we are getting has a 7kw OBC.

My understanding is that the UK gets single phase chargers, but Europe (maybe only the long range model) gets 11 kW 3-phase.

EV Database for the long range.

The reasoning seems to be that in Europe, there are so many 3-phase 16 A "chargers" that it would be a real nuisance only getting 3.6 kW from those common chargers (single phase 16 A).
