Here are mine. You've reminded me that I haven't updated the thread describing my build for a while.

I used flattened copper pipe. I got it as offcuts from a plumber, and a friend flattened it for me at his work. Then I marked each one individually to drill the holes, since the cells are different widths due to slight swelling.
I think the pipe is 1/2" diameter before squashing. It crimps nicely onto 50 mm2 cable, left over from my EV build.
I have the smaller cells, but 32 of them. This setup can deliver about 6 kW.

Might be a good source for more spares.

And a source of the 220 Ah cells, should you have a set of them.

I had a reply from the supplier of the 400 Ah LFP cells, which are a realistic source of spare cells for these AVASS cell packs.
US$160 each, or about $280 each landed in Australia. If folks really need some spares, try and arrange an order for at least a dozen and share the burden.

Hey everyone I have 240 400ah cells on order from another supplier that will be arriving in Perth middle of next month.
These will be sold in lots of 16 but thinking of splitting up two sets to be sold individually for those in need.

Pricing to be finalized shortly.

Did you add the extra plastic top and bottom pieces or did they come like that?
Just wondering about them fitting alongside the AEVA cells.
I assume these are a couple you bought for evaluation pending the big shipment?

Hi Dave this photo was from my supplier. The plastic end caps can be removed if you don't want to use them.
The majority of the cell tests I have seen are closer to 420AH so looks promising. Thanks

Many thanks.

My 8* AVASS cells are all around 400AH. They were specced at 460 but I suspect that was an overenthusiastic figure. Given mine was a random sample and they are all quite close to one another 400AH with some upside to 420 as you report seems realistic.

Do you have an estimate for your sell price?

Hi,

Still waiting for 6 replacement NiFes. Even if I do receive them, I'm not confident of ever getting the remaining 34. It's been 6 months since I was promised them, last contact about 4 weeks ago, just before we left for QLD. So, looking around for other options.

I could probably buy 16 x 200Ah, and use them as the main bank, with the remaining working NiFes as backup bank. At least until they fail.

If I can get refunded, buy another set of 200Ah.

Wondering if anybody is thinking of buying some.

Are these any good? How would we know of the quality.

How much would a suitable BMS cost?

Hi,

I'll be buying 16 when we return home mid August. Not exactly sure if we want to return to Victoria though!

Price on the web site is now $264 so up about $20 from previously.

I believe this is a good deal and it is great being able to source these in Oz with all the dramas of getting them here covered off.

We have secured 200 more 400AH 3.2V LFP cells due to arrive in December.

This lot will be sold in sets on 16 and not individually.

The last lot of these sold out in just a few days so get in quick!
