For those that have manufactured custom links from rigid conductors, what materials and cross section dimensions do you recommend?
Here are mine. You've reminded me that I haven't updated the thread describing my build for a while.

I used flattened copper pipe. I got it as offcuts from a plumber, and a friend flattened it for me at his work. Then I marked each one individually to drill the holes, since the cells are different widths due to slight swelling.
I think the pipe is 1/2" diameter before squashing. It crimps nicely onto 50 mm2 cable, left over from my EV build.
I have the smaller cells, but 32 of them. This setup can deliver about 6 kW.

I just found an Alibaba supplier of these cells:
https://www.alibaba.com/product-detail/ ... 60c7dMXe93

Might be a good source for more spares.

And a source of the 220 Ah cells, should you have a set of them.

I had a reply from the supplier of the 400 Ah LFP cells, which are a realistic source of spare cells for these AVASS cell packs.
US$160 each, or about $280 each landed in Australia. If folks really need some spares, try and arrange an order for at least a dozen and share the burden.
