Hi everyone.

I've videos were people start or stop load already plugged in inverter from the inverter"s switch interrupter.

Is that a way to go with no bad side effect ?

Or should be the inverter started first, then plug the load, use it, unplug the load and last switch OFF the inverter ?

Inverters seem to be happy starting with a load connected. So I don't think it matters.

Hello Harold,
I have now used my inverter, which is almost the same as yours, quite a bit now. I have turned it on and off in all possible ways. When charging my EV from it, the BMS interrupts the battery connection to the inverter when any cell reaches 2.8V.

I can start the inverter with load attached or not. I can turn on the inverter with load attached then use the contacter to connect the battery. No problem.

Because the inverter "slow starts" when turned on (in any manner) everything seems fine no matter how I do it.

When running tools, heaters, fans etc I normally turn it on and off with the inverter remote switch.

Regards,
Dave
