Hi everyone!
Please make sure your membership is up to date as we will be announcing another members-only deal on Wednesday the 13th of March. An email will be sent to all new and current financial members of the association at 12 pm AEDST (11.30 am in SA/NT and 9 am in WA).

I joined last month and just checked emails... nothing on the 13???? did I miss something?

Hi Mick,
There was another bunch of battery cells come available after the AVASS buses were stripped. I sent the email yesterday at 9 am WST, but it may have wound up in a spam folder.
In any case all of the cells were bought up within the hour.

Hi Mick, you were in the original email list. But in any case these cells would be pretty ordinary for a conversion, unless it was a very low voltage conversion which never went very fast.
Most DC conversions run 144 volts, or about 45 cells in series. That's the best part of 500 kilos of battery! And all for a measly 22 kW of power. Much better suited to stationary energy storage.
