Kona EV servicing WA

Post by LORAX »

HI,
Just wondering who WA Kona EV owners recommend for servicing their EVs. We typically have used a local mechanic for our petrol vehicles, but usually take a new car back to the dealer the first few times. We are purchasing from NOR, but live SOR, so wondering if it matters which Hyundai service centre we use? Here in the West not every Hyundai dealer sells the EVs, so wondering whether I should take the car to an EV dealer or not. Otherwise our closest dealer is probably John Hughes in Vic Park.
thoughts?

Yep, Autospark Rockingham does servicing.

In terms of dealers I don't know which hyundai dealers are EV certified. I don't think Rockingham hyundai are...

Pretty sure Vic Park, Ozzy Park and Wangara are the only Bluedrives in Perth.

Thanks.
Yes it seems (via Hyundai website - https://www.hyundai.com/au/en/find-a-de ... ve-service) that those are the only options in WA.

Looks like Vic Park is my closest option, but would drive out to Osborne Park if there were reported issues at Vic Park. Cake and coffee on the strip while waiting - or I guess some exercise down by the foreshore instead! ;)
