Ditto. Great cars, american made so very average quality, and too expensive. But thank you Tesla for your incredible work at shaking the industry.

Hi all,

First post. Picked up a red Ioniq last week as my work car. Loving it so far. Very well appointed and as powerful as the Diesel Outback I gave back. I'm trying to set an example at work for all my crew. Been taking them for test drives all week and enjoying their EV Grin.

Charged to 100% last night and this morning the guessometer said 348km! Took it to work and did a test drive and got home and still said 310km with 90% charge left in it.

Where abouts? And what did the red paint add?
We're in discussions with Eagers/AHG about extending the WA AEVA discount of $3000 to other states. Only applies to white though.

Im kinda lucky because its on lease as a government vehicle. First EV in the govt fleet I think. It came from Wangara Hyundai. We're trying to prepare ourselves for the inevitable EV revolution by being ready for them, gaining an understanding of what changes we may need to make to our fleets etc.

No idea how much the paint cost...but I like it

Wonderful news! AHG were offering discounts so the drive away price was $49,990. Are JH following suit?

Yes they did give the 3000 off also they had no problems supplying this colours with the discount. The Manager said he would be willing to establish a relation ship with the WA branch. The colour cost 595$ extra. We liked the white and also we wanted a 2020 build.

Interesting - arriving May. We placed our order back in January and were told it would arrive in early April. Wonder if it's the same shipment, just delayed a month?
I might just renew my old oil-burner's rego for 3 months.

Unfortunately we're not expecting to see it any time soon. And with the current collapse in consumer sentiment, I reckon dealerships might be keen to sell any old car, even an EV!

I asked Chris if this WA member discount was available in other states and, with his help and the assistance of Chris Tassel in the AHG group in WA, I got an even better deal through Victoria's Essendon Fields Hyundai...ask Danielle for the AEVA deal.

Yeah @antday gave us a lift to Wild West Hyundai so we could collect it. So many features to learn but at least getting in and driving is a piece of cake.
Had 311 km on the guessometer when we got in, and it had a full tank of angry Li+ ions.

Very nice, and the first (and probably last) new thing we've ever bought. But will make my 400 km a week commute far more palatable.

Yeah manufactured March 2020. Looks like a solid 310 km range with typical driving. Might take a trip to Albany next weekend to see how it goes on the highway.

A Better Route Planner is a bit clumsy; seems to want to back track unless I'm doing something wrong?

I figure 7 kW would give me something in the order of 50-60 km per hour charging, so a long coffee break at the Williams Woolshed would almost get me through.

We have the Vegepod at Arthur River too. Unfortunately there's not a lot going on in Arthur River...
