Victorian EV infrastructure study

Post by Damon500 » Tue, 19 Feb 2019, 18:26

Hi all,
For those interested there is a Victorian based trial by Citipower and Powercor where they are investigating EV power usage to gauge infrastructure requirements. I have signed up and so far they have 7 participants- they are looking for about 20 within their distribution area.
Luke Skinner has been open and approachable about the study- if you are interested please contact him on the details below:

We need your help! Over the next few years we’re expecting more of our customers will turn to electric vehicles.

To help us continue to move with this change we’re looking for 20 electric vehicle owners that live within our networks to participate in a study.

This study will help us identify patterns that show where other EVs are located to better understand where we need to make changes to the grid to make new EV connections as fast and as painless as possible.

If you’re interested in taking part and live within the CitiPower or Powercor network areas please contact our Head of Digital - Network Luke Skinner: LSkinner@powercor.com.au

Have just taken delivery of Kona Highlander. Very interested in establisment of more charging stations. Particularly outside Melbourne.
No idea what areas you cover, I live at Lilydale 3140.
