MG eZS

I’m interested to hear thoughts on this one planned for release here in 2020- having recently attended the Shanghai Motorshow and seeing the competitive nature of the Chinese EV market I think this has some serious potential...

I guess they (the right hand drive ones) will be released in the UK first, so see how they go there. They will probably be quite popular in the UK, with the MG brand and the prices may be very good too.

Q3 2020 according to John Hughes MG.
I’ve ordered a blue one; didn’t want black or red. Was gonna go white, but then didn’t wanna FOMO with metallic blue.

Already delivered to owners in Thailand where they are made. No import tax unlike German EVs 80%, SE Asian EVs 40%.
In Thailand it is only available in Blue and top spec.

Make sure you have a good back & knees to access front charge port.

This will be my volt replacement.
Ie. Rubber air dam on volt bugged me at test drive but I still bought it.

Mainly bought it due to the round / smooth indicator knobs. Unlike Hyundai’s 2 piece units and Holden’s knurled ones.

Also the intro price is almost too good to be true.
SAIC make MG as well as LDV.
Bjørn‘s got one in Thailand

Watch out for the perforation warranty though. Nigel (The EV Puzzle) cancelled his ZS EV order cos he couldn’t get an answer from MG UK about it.
