With TBH away with elderly friends on a family visit, I was somewhat tardy in getting up for breakie, then an urgent phone call to beckon me to the hospital in Gundagai due to her sudden medical situation. This was around 8:15 so it was a bit of a shock and we don’t have a long range anything anymore......just the SR+.
So a bite to eat in Violet Town with around 60% remaining it’s off to Wodonga Superchargers where a quick coffee is obtained and we leave at midday arriving at the Gundagai hospital at 14:00.
It always seems to be like walking in treacle to get out of a hospital, but after a quick zap at the nearby Superchargers we are off around 16:00 and just a comfort stop zap back in Wodonga we arrive home just after 20:00.
800 km round trip no problem at all..... in fact you sometimes feel that the chargers don’t give you enough time for the essentials.
We are perfectly happy with the SR version.........and as an aside teslabjorn claims 1000kms can be done in 10:30 so who needs more .
Sudden callout
