I’d like to know why my iPod Touch 256gb doesn’t appear when I plug in via either of the front USB ports?.
It appears not streaming is just so yesterday......or am I missing something ?.
Playing your music
Re: Playing your music
Not necessarily a tesla thing, I've experienced Apple not playing nicely with a lot of car stereos. Especially factory head units.
Tesla probably declined to pay money to the apple gods and the ghost of Steve Jobs past has brought his wrath upon them.
Does a standard usb full of music work?

From what I understand the iPod goes through an indexing process every start which can take around 10-15 minutes each time.
The USB stick works ok after a shorter indexing process.
It seems streaming was priority but the tech guy at JB (fixing an odd battery issue) said he was going to get an iPod for use in a Tesla, so I’ll have to put him right.
