Nice one. At these prices it's hardly surprising they are selling so well.

I'm curious to know if there are any completely non-ICE households out there? Any?

(I should mention that I was a non-ICE household for many years before I bought the Blackbird - 1100 cc road tourer. Then 8 years later I bought a car for the first time). I look forward to going ICE-less in a couple of years too.

Good one Gabz ! Yeah the $25k is a good price for a great EV ! You will enjoy !
Just imagine if they had hit the market at this price 2 years ago !
Hey, is the i the same colour as the Lancer ?? (straining to see the mitsubishi burgundy (or is it red) in the reflection) Image

I like the speed camera proof numberplate. Image Was that extra ?

Hey cg, that is a big challenge 'coz of the chainsaw, firepump, slasher, tractor etc. Can we just make it no road going ICE vehicle households ? Does it count if the dino burner is up on blocks ?
iMiEV MY12     105,131km in pure Electric and loving it !

$25k seems to be the current going price for a bunch of them all exdemos all 8 months old. I was going to buy a blue one from cessnock but someone got to it first, and the booths dealer rang me a couple days ago to tell me about customer referal program and another i-miev at tuggerah

the reflection is the car the i replaced a 1999 magna sports i'll be able to pay of the i with just the fuel savings along.

as for the number place that's my photoshop work so my wife could post the picture on facebook.

My parents picked up a silver 2010 iMiEV from Paceway today!! Image Image
The looks are growing on me already as long as I close my eyes when behind the iMiEV. Image
Initially I thought the older i's were not fully j1772 compliant (it comes with just a j1772 handle direct to a 15A plug) but amongst the paper work is a small slip which seems to suggest it may have been modified in 2011 for the comms.

Will have to try charging from a proper j1772 charge station and report back..

Congratulations Gabz! [<:o)]

Great buying!

If it's like everyone else's driving experiences, you might find the ICE sitting around a lot more than you first imagined Image

Like my ICE

Enjoy, it really is a joy to drive & an amazing driving experience.

Maybe a I-miev celebration is in order if we hit 10.

Photo somewhere in front of the city?

not until the car gets child seats waiting on some Australian approved ISOFIX seats.

It's too annoying to take the seats in and out each week because i need to put the back seats down to put the hockey gear in.

True, swapping out child seats is a pain.

The Imiev isn't to bad though in that regard. Because the car is so small and the child hitch is at hip height within easy reach. I find fitting a child seat only takes seconds in the Imiev. Just throw the seat in open the hatch and clip in. It's fitting it back in the other car that's the pain.

Good thing it stays more or less in the imiev for 95% of our driving and the 2nd rear seat can be folded down for large items.

The ISOFIX seat looks like a good idea (wish i had them over the past 6 years Image not worth it now our daughter is on the cuff of needing a booster seat anymore.

We had an informal Perth iMiEV gathering yesterday and tried charging with acmotor's EVSE and it worked on my Dads car but not on another 2010 model. viewtopic.php?p=45259&t=3707&title=2010 ... ect#p45259]

Even though its just the guessing meter, Its nice to see a big number.

What were you doing in the Imiev for the 25km before you charged it? lots of down hill or slow driving?

Repeat what you did in the last 25km over and over and you should get your 158km.

I think I got a number in the 150s a while back. Perhaps 153km can't remember now. More often its around the 120km to 130km and as low at 80km.
