September 19 Holden Volt pre-launch

Post by localpower »

I know it's not a pure EV, but some Brisbane branch members might be interested in checking out the Holden Volt at a pre-launch directly before the September meeting.

5-7pm Wednesday September 19th at Eagers at 143 Newmarket Rd.
You will need to RSVP before Monday 17th through volt@eagersholden.com.au or call Kristine on 3109 6765

September 19 Holden Volt pre-launch

The Holden Volt came to the AEVA Brisbane Branch meeting last night, so that more people could look at it.

That made a total of 6 EVs (counting the Volt as an EV; it was using only electric power so I say it counts):

1 Volt, owned by General Motors (?)
2 Leafs (Tritium are using one as a "test mule" for their upcoming 50 kW Chademo/IEC charger). One owned by member Rob, and another by corporate member James.
1 Mazda 121, owned by Don
1 Honda City (old model), owned by Jeff
Greg's conversion (sorry, I forget the make)
