There will be several EVs on display at the BCC GreenHeart Fair, this Sunday the 8th of November 2009, at the Mt Gravatt showgrounds, 1644 Logan Rd, Mt Gravatt, from 10am until 3pm.
We'll have our client's newly completed Honda Civic conversion there, and I'm informed that there will be a few other EVs also, but don't have any more details at this point.

There was only one other electric car there that I saw:

There was no-one in attendance (when I was there), and the URL doesn't seem to do much for me (I believe it's http://www.cleansystemenergy.com.
It looks a little bit like a Smart car (BMW) from the front:

Except that Smart cars have their engine at the back.
This one is left hand drive:

That's an amp gauge in the middle, with 300 A at maximum. It's an AC system, however, with U, V, and W marked on the controller.
It's a two seater (with no gap between seats):

It looks a bit amateuristic at the back (to my mind). A metal flap covers the charge inlet:

It would be nice to find some more details about this compact car.
There were other EVs there, in the form of bikes:

We're presenting one of the topics, I think the last one before the final break.

Would you be available to come to the Brisbane branch meeting on 18th November 7:30PM to give us a run down of the event?

I'm going to try to make it to the branch meeting, but the presentations today were way too dense to be able to summarise in half an hour!
Apparently the slides from the various presentations will be posted online in the next week or so, if possible I will post a link here when they go up.
