Ok, thanks. I think the short range is the main issue for this vehicle, nearly 26kWh and 80-100km range means 260 to 325Wh/km. I expect the alternator hanging off the electric motor has a lot to do with that, would need a DC-DC upgrade for anyone who buys it I expect. Have decided to wait for something longer range to hit the market...

For anyone looking at this it's best to talk to Derek, but I get the impression that he's never actually tested the range. His battery is getting older, which is probably why he didn't list the battery capacity.
