A few Tri-win DC40D-1250 water pumps, $30ea

Post by zeva »

Hi all,

I recently looked into getting a small pump for the water cooling circuit in my RX7, and after a bit of a hunt found a model with the right specs from a company called Tri-win. Unfortunately their minimum order was 5pcs, so I have 4pcs spare! So, does anyone need a cheap water pump (for motor controller cooling circuits, etc)?

- Model: DC40D-1250
- Magnetically coupled brushless DC motor
- 12VDC 1.1A power consumption
- 450L/hr flowrate (i.e 7.5L/min, as recommended by Zilla manual, also good for Solitons)
- 5M water head pressure
- IP68 sealed but not intended to be submersible, i.e don't use one in your fish tank
- 10mm inlet and outlet (same size as Zilla and Solitons so you won't need hose adapters)

Asking $30ea (what they cost me), plus postage - probably $8 Express Post bag is going to be easiest.

I might buy one off you Ian - My Evo motor calls for 8 l/min so I reckon it will work just fine.

Bring it to the next AEVA meeting! (There's my bribe for attendance Image)

Hi TJ,

Rated for 60degC - a little marginal for a cooling circuit I'll admit, certainly couldn't use it to water cool an ICE, but it is probably good to keep EV gear running below this temp anyway!?
