For Sale - Converted Mazda 121 Bubble

Post by Lowly » Tue, 21 Feb 2012, 18:32

The time has come to move on from my electric 121. This has been a reliable car and my daily transport to work for the last couple of years.

My work is moving and the new location will require freeway travel. The car was designed for a top speed of 75-80 km/hr.

I converted the car from 2009 to 2010 and was first registered in 2010. It is registered in Victoria and will be sold with a roadworthy certificate.

While the lead acid batteries are aging, it still has a range of about 20km (originally 50km). My plan before work moved was to convert to lithium.

It is a 72V system with a Sepex motor (rewound advance forklift motor from "Alpha motors" ) and Sevcon controller. It still has 5 seats.

I can provide further details by emailing the document I submitted to demonstrate compliance to the NCOP guidelines.

Hi does the car come with a charger? Does it still have a clutch for the gearbox? Is there any room in the boot or does it have batts in there? Can you post up some more pics?

Thanks
Jamie

Jamie,

The clutch is still used.

There is not much room left in the boot as I put some of the batteries there to allow me to keep the rear seat.

Comes with chargers installed (6 x 12V).

I have been having real problems with posting stuff on this forum. Please let me know your email either on this forum or by emailing me (gheins@gmail.com) and I will send you the NCOP response that includes photos to give you a good idea about the conversion.

Cheers

Greg
