Wanted (now sourced) - Leaf service plug

Post by brendon_m »

I'm chasing a Nissan Leaf service disconnect / disable plug that goes into the top of the battery.
There are 2 types and I need the older style.
Part number
297C1-3NA0B
Looks like this

Any leads will be greatly appreciated.

Alternatively, the plug and base from any other model EV/hybrid, preferably something with a fuse built in and a set of interlock pins

c-caw c-caw

I did take the whole battery, but don't remember seeing a service fuse

I'll take a look through my shed, though I'm pretty sure I only have the base

I do have some prius nhw10 service disconnects and fuses - though I think they're only rated to 100A (450Vdc though)

Thanks chaps.
The Prius one might do but the fuse size is probably little light on as I'll need closer to 200A, though the 450V rating is about right as I'll be running 330V fully charged.
If you have an imiev base (or similar) I could try and find a plug for that instead.
It seems to be quite hard to get my hands on one :( and here's me just trying to be safe(r)

Hi there - a couple of new options:
https://www.amphenol.com/node/4826
https://eveurope.eu/en/product-category ... onnect-en/

They are (or at least used to be) also sold by by SWE check here in Melbourne, but I couldn't find their listing for it quickly.

Cheers

Good call @reecho, Leon did have one laying around. Only one but that's all I needed.
With how much trouble I had finding this one I think those links @Bryce posted will come in handy to anyone else who wants to fit a service plug to a conversion.

Sad thing is, when an old Leaf (2010 -2013) has its pack replaced the new packs have a different style disconnect plug so there must be bucket loads of the old style across the world that have probably just been sent to the tip.
