Recently got a Hub motor kit from EV Power and fitted it to my mountain bike.
Its a 350watt motor in the front wheel. Top speed is around 30kmh and range has not been an issue or tested yet. But should be good for 20-40km+ depending on amount of pedalling.
Also got a Cycle analyst which is really neat - displays speed, amps, volts, odometer, wh/km, regen etc.
So far I have done about 90km and got an average of 5.9wh/km! That is with some pedaling. I might try a ride today with no pedaling.
The bad thing about an electric bike is it makes every other vehicle seem so ineffecient. Image

Went for a ride this afternoon with almost no pedaling on grass full throttle. 3.7km 14.5wh/km. Really takes some power to push through the grass.
Forgot to mention the battery is 24v 10ah Lithium.

Nice bike. I'm seriously considering a practice conversion on my bike at home. I've been riding it to the shops in the last year or so rather than burn petrol - unless it's a big shop and that'd be too much to pedal with. But we'll be moving into the new house soon and that is a much longer ride to the shops.
I'll drive an electric vehicle one day.

Does your bike fit in your eV?
So the short answer is NO but the long answer is YES.

No it doesnt fit! Image I think even if I took a wheel off it would be a real tight fit.
