For those interested in government policy development emphasising emissions suppression in order to accelerate the EV transition ; a Grattan Institute webinar - (do we have significant influence?)

This led me to "stream of consciousness" thinking
Webinar > hot air > emissions reduction > no webinar

…….but do we actually need a strategy if ‘clean’ foreigners effectively control our fleet choice ?
Or are we preparing for ‘dumping ground’ status ?

Vehicle emissions standards for all vehicles sold in Oz would compel manufacturers to make more of their cleaner options available. But there's a global shortage of EVs right now, and the easier, more profitable markets get first dibs. Hopefully we get a bit more of a look in...
