Adelaide - ChargePoint Fuel Cell Recharge Station
Huh? They use a fuel cell to charge electric vehicles and make some hot water? That seems silly to me.
So they start with "mains gas" and use this in a fuel cell to produce electricity and heat. Surely this process produces CO2? Yet they are listing CO2 savings. Why not just use electricity directly, and buy from a green electric source? That eliminates all CO2 generation (apart from embedded energy and am occasional maintenance truck run).
I guess their point is that gas to electric via a fuel cell releases a little less CO2 than coal fired power stations. Perhaps it's more efficient as well, especially when you can use the waste heat.

More stuff on this...
Adelaide Central Market
One must enter at the Grote street side.
Exit from either Grote St or Gouger St.
The parking bays are before the ticket machine and boom gate so after parking/charging completed one simply packs up and drive to the ticket machine (the only way out) and then the boom gate, drives though to an exit and there the officer will probably say "You've only just arrived, that's OK". Evidently they allow a quarter of an hour before they start charging for parking.
Eric.
