Found this article online today.
BBC News article

It looks promising. Even despite a limited amount of charges, the energy density is looking good.

The article was using 150 charges as an example.
It says that it is 5x better than standard Lithium-ion.
LiFePO4 is about 4-5x better than standard Lithium-ion.
So this would be definately be an improvement.

For eV applications this would mean lighter packs/longer range.
The recharge time is not much of a concern as there are limited sub-stations dedicated to just charging one car...
So the short answer is NO but the long answer is YES.
