Apologies if this has been linked here before. I couldn't find it on a quick search. But my memory is horribly bad for remembering where i found awesome things.
Anyway. The guy who made Who Killed The Electric Car has made a new movie: Revenge of the Electric Car! They're being a big whorish this time, and will only release the preview once they've gotten 10,000 'likes' on facebook, so if you can stand the unwashed internet masses go here and clicky!
Having not seen any footage yet, i can't really comment further, but hopefully it's the same as the first movie, but with a more positive vibe with all the progress being made lately.

Wow they are really trying to hype it up!
"Revenge is coming. Spring 2011"
So it wont be showing till March next year I guess?
Still should be a good documentary to watch. Would be good to have an EV movie night organised for when it premieres in Australia.

So have they really made the trailer yet?
Or are they waiting to see if there is enough intrest by waiting for 10,000 members?
Sounds like vapour ware like thier pictures.
But if they do make something I'll be there with the popcorn

So the short answer is NO but the long answer is YES.

The Main Site has more diverse info on the people involved in the movie.
ie Chelsea Sexton has a Volt for a foster child
A newsd letter sign up to be the first to "See it in your City"
Photos of movie production ...
Will be interesting to see how the their media filter covers the current issue.

Revenge of the Electric Car
Revenge of the Electric Car is now available on DVD!
If you follow the advice to buy directly from the distributor New Video you cannot purchase unless you are in the US. It is the same for iTunes as well! Why is it so hard to watch a movie!
If you live in Brisbane there is a free screening on the 13th of February.

It'll show up, sooner or later. No rush. I'll drive down in my electric car to buy it.

I saw Revenge of the Electric Car yesterday and must say I was a little disappointed. It mostly just felt like old news to me.

I'd agree with that assessment. It mainly showed each of the cars, and the trials each manufacturer went through to get it to production. They made it feel like it's a major victory and a feel good film. Call me a pessimist, but the way the carried on, it was as if they expected everyone to have an electric vehicle within a few years.
