One mean rally ready Hyundai Kona EV

Post by EVdownUnder »

With up to 800kW of power and 1100Nm of torque driving all 4 wheels via 4 motors, that is one mean Kona EV.

Admittedly I don’t think that much of the Kona we drive is left on that beast.

If it also supports dynamic 4-wheel regenerative braking, that is also some mean software!

Not sure about the ground clearance for a rally car, though.
cheers

If they can get a fast battery swap EVs could potentially beat ICE cars in endurance races.
I am sure (with some money spent on R&D) a 5 sec battery swap could be done.
All it needs is some quick release clamps and a very big plug. Nothing innovative at all.
