1st place Michael Rutter with a lap record of 104.056mph average
2nd place John McGuinness at 102.215mph
3rd place Mark Miller 101.0665mph

And this was a standing lap! Not that this would add much to the average speed, but still. I think they should push for faster laps before changing the format to two laps. That kind of energy storage will require a massive advance in battery technology.

I'm blown away by the claim some competitors have 20kW/h battery packs!
How the hell are they fitting that much on a bike?
