I think the lack of high revs to take off with might seem a little strange at first (I find it puts me in a state of readiness), but on the flip side of that the zero revs means nothing is shaking or sliping, no clutch riding, and it should theorectically be easier to cut a good light.

The problem with those big square back tyres is you actually lean the opposite way to what you think. You lean towards the barrier rather than away from it, which you would want to do by instinct.
