I really like the onboard footage, once you get all the readouts right it should make a great enhancement to the overall effect.
Being on board like that give you a much greater sense of the experience (I nearly changed gears for him a couple of times coming into the corner). Great compilation Andy.
Edit: Removed incorrect reference to the wrong person.

Was there any coverage on the telly? I saw the Formula Extreme races on Speedweek, but no mention of the TTXGP.

Thanks for that. I must have been away from the telly at that exact time. Figures haha.

Hey John,
Have you heard anything about bookings for the upcomming first race at Eastern Creek? I just reset my flights to Sydney, and will restart the crating and transporting process all over again, but I haven't seen the entry forms up on the efxc.com.au website.
Cheers,
CHRIS

Yeah, always a nice surprise that "week-before-$450-race-fee" thing isn't it? I have the replacement motor shaft sorted out and it's back together, I am just waiting on my joining shaft. Hope it turns up soon! All going to plan I will be there for July 1st, failed pick-ups notwithstanding.

HOLY sh*tCAKES BATMAN! That is f**king ludicrous. Sorry, but there is no reason for that kind of cost. We ought to hold off until TTX-GP finally begs us to compete. Seriously, that is gouging at it's finest

Had a great night at last nights AEVA meeting ,
Sydney members have passed the hat around and rased close to $1000 for Dan & I to enter the first round of the EFX/TTXGP.
Perth should follow suit for you Chris

Hi Everyone, especially the Perth EV community!
Since I have already spend over $17,000 on Voltron, the electric RG250, I am struggling to find the funds to get my bike over to Sydney for the TTX-GP. Crating the bike over, and my return flights are all a bit much for me to afford.
However, as mentioned above, two of the other entrants in the Australian TTX-GP have passed their hats around their local AEVA branch meeting and successfully raised enough funds between them to mostly cover the fee.
Unfortunately I was out working my day job till late last night, so I couldn't make it to the Perth Branch meeting of the Australian EV Association to do the same.
So I am politely requesting that the WA EV community, who has in many ways helped me build my bike, to please dig deep and support my bid for the first round of the TTX-GP. Each race costs $1150 (including Friday testing) and there are three races this year. I will hopefully be better placed to pay for the latter two races, but flights (>$800 return) and shipping (>$500 one way) are just killing me.
If you could send money through PayPal to jonescg@cyllene.uwa.edu.au and mark it as a gift, I will be most appreciative. Let me know your username so I can publicly thank you!
Once I crack $500 I will stop accepting donations, as this is half the amount I need (and the same as what the gassers are paying
)
Many thanks in advance,
Chris
