Post by a4x4kiwi »

Hi Guys,
Tuesday the 12th July, there will be food and chat at the Terrey Hills Tavern.

This is a completely social event. There is no agenda, no subject matter, and no structure.
Simply rock up, hang out, eat some food, and chat.
(Warning: Chat subjects may contain non-EV related materials).

Time: 7:00pm.
Location: Terrey Hills Tavern (generally outside in the undercover couch area).

Address: 2 Aumuna road, Terrey Hills NSW 2084
(Just off Mona Vale Road)

I was keen on trying to make it to this one but it seems the gods are against me, or at least my own stupidity. It appears I had 4 pieces of metal imbedded in my right eye as a result of grinding a battery frame on Saturday afternoon. eye was a bit sore but didn't worry about it. Sunday morning it was sore but seemed to easy during the day. Sunday night it was bad. A trip to the hospital emergency, they dug them out but the bits had started to rust, now I have hole in the middle bit. If the specialist says i can drive tomorrow I'll still try to get there. i have a few new but 21/2yr old Thundersky cells and some March '11 production Winston LYP cells so it would have been interesting to put them on 4x4 Kiwi's meter, one of each fully charged and one of each as delivered.
