Spotted a red tesla on the freeway this morning. This time I'm sure it was one - I could see the tesla badges on the rear of the car

Spotted a blue Honda Insight, looked like a very recent model. William Street, Brisbane CBD, rolled up to the lights in that "too quiet", electrical way. Headed north on the South East Freeway.
I didn't even realise that modern insights were available in Australia. It looked quite good, not as much a "science project" as the original Insights.
[ Edit: added the city ]

Spotted an RAC electric vehicle trial car last night. Took a pic with the iPhone, but the quality is so low its not worth posting.
Found it on the rac website: http://rac.com.au/About-Us/Community/Environment.aspx

Seriously....
They need two years to collect data about what need to be done to prepare for electric cars...
I'm guessing the people collecting the data payed smart people to build the cars then.
What data do they need? No one has any? No where anywhere in the world has tried something similar ?
Wing it like they did with petrol.
Give us somewhere to plug in at each public parking complex.
Then maybe bring out cars for under 60g!!

That's the one. And how good is that 12 hrs free parking at Queensgate.

These panels are not that serious yet, 4 x 100w all up, but we are getting about 12km of charging per day. But they are way too heavy and kinda awkward.
Thoughts at the moment are to get some of the boat type panels (no glass) and mount them on a light board, maybe even foam.
