Curtin University FINALLY gets an EV charger

Post by jonescg »

So finally folks attending a branch meeting at Curtin can get a top up before or after. SO far as I can tell it's free, but parking is paid. I'm sure @g4qber can inform us :D

On that note, our next WA branch meeting will be at Curtin University Physics Building (301) on Tuesday the 7th of June. I'll try and get someone from the FBI CRC to give a quick presentation. We hope to also have a robust discussion about roads and EV policy, plus I can road test some things I'll be presenting at the CIBSE seminar on the 22nd of June.

See you then!

Good to know that exists, awesome

A shame there's no AC though (I suppose beggers can't be choosers)

Early bird get the 'charge' at meetings I gather ... :lol:

Now my son will have the added excuse of trying to steal my LORAX for his games nights at CURTIN!

@jonescg you mean Tuesday 8 June ?
@antiscab you can charge at Horizon. That's what I used to do for Curtin meets and walk to the Physics building.

Kye Russell spotted the DC ABB 24kW charger.
Looks like it has been there for a while.
Curtin seems to be doing research with BASF.

Yes, calendars are always a hassle with me. I look at the days as they roll in.

The parking sign next to it indicated no charge for parking on the weekend. Had just done my weekend charge at Horizon and popped over to have a look-see. Added a photo of the charger and the parking sign to Plug share

I charged yesterday (Public Holiday in WA) and the CelloPark app indicated the parking was free until 00:00. So there appears to be some confusion about cost.
