Tc charger 72v dead user error.

Post by Dan007a » Sat, 25 May 2019, 15:52

Just killed my 2nd tc charger due to my own error. Removing wire when under load.
Now in the market again for a good 144v 2nd hand charger

Out of curiosity, was that the ac input wire you pulled, or the dc output?

Also curious about the mistake so as not to do it myself. (I don't want to end up as another 'dead user' ;-) )

Had it charging two 72v packs. And put the neg side onti the pack under load on the dc side.
Not happy. But lesson noted
