Lithium Titanate (LTO) Batteries

Not much on AVEA about the LTO batteries so far.
They are 2.4V have high C rates for discharge AND charge.
They also have really good cycle life - better than LeFePO4.
One manufacturer is claiming 16,000 cycles
Mitsubishi put the Toshiba SCiB's in "some" Mievs'.
The down side is they aren't as energy dense as some.
So an ev wont have as good range.
But will charge in next to no time!

The link below has them in 18650 size that are radial PCB mount.
Just don't run them through the wave machine.
In comparison they are about 10x the price of Headway cells per Wh.
