I have only owned an electric vehicle for a couple of weeks, and I've already become annoyed at the amount of ICEd EV Chargers I have encountered..
So I decided I would create a FB page to name and shame ICE drivers who park in and block EV Chargers.
Feel free to post and help create awareness..

Re: ICEd EV Chargers
I wonder if legislation exists for towing of vehicles blocking refueling stations....

I don't see you should not be allowed to double park beside or behind them and use an extension lead. Maybe even leave your phone number just in case they want to move their car before you have finished charging (if you are available).

Perhaps the AEVA should design up a thoughtful card to leave under these people's wiper blades. Nothing offensive, just pointing out that actually there are electric vehicles now, and more and more coming, and you have now prevented a charge by your inconsiderate behaviour. Add a few facts and figures.
We could get some printed out and distribute them at AEVA meetings or by post, for a moderate fee.

They should get a parking fine for parking in the wrong place.
Every one wins. Department of transport makes some money and electric vehicles get to charge.

Hmmm I don't think the DoT will get the money.
It either goes to the city council or the parking bay operator etc...
Still I think that it is a way to fix the problem.

So the short answer is NO but the long answer is YES.

I'd go with intentional behaviour - well in my area at least
The bogan with the V8 commodore will park there on purpose.
A card won't help these people.

Could hold a protest and get a stack of eV's and park at the petrol station for a few hours.
