Charge point 4.0

Post by Gabz »

I'm a bit worried about "ChargePoint Connections will allow Drivers to connect with businesses that provide charging via ChargePoint. Business will be keen to attract your patronage and you will have the benefit of being able to receive timely notifications of upcoming discounts, special offers and alerts when stations are added by businesses that you frequent.*" and getting more spam but at the same time i have a flybuys and woolies card.

if it means more charge locations all the better right ?

Privacy policy already has this statement "We also may use the User Information to provide advertisements from us or our partners, but you will have the opportunity to opt-out of these communications." so apparently i already agree to it.

I read over that email to and at at first thought. I don't want more spam and so on. Though it's not like there is a huge take up at if any at all at the moment. so I'm sure my inbox isn't going to be overloaded the moment and like you with promotions. If its a spam mail from a business that is offering me a charge point preferably a fast & free one then I can live that.

2nd thing I've noticed is that you can now load your charge point card up with minimum of $25 dollars worth of credit.

there are currently none in Australia that charge but we've been put on the worldwide platform if you go to chargepoint.com you can see plenty that charge money

it's up the the charge point owner / site owner how much to charge etc...

Yes most likely that number is EV drivers - not EV's as a lot of people might register two drivers for the one car.

FYI can only be logged into one platform at a time
Eg. Ios OR android

Better place 1800 800 246 no. Redirects to chargepoint aus.

Barlee st bollard now sending SMSes

Good to see that both apps are now quite similar.

3x wa sites are free for now
A magic nissan
B northside Nissan
C barlee st mt lawley carpark

Great how the Nissan dealers have 24/7 access
Holden dealers' units are within their locked compound.
Even with electrified barb wire in rockingham. http://www.recargo.com/sites/8564
