Our politicians really don't support Australian entrepreneurs.
"Australia's first commercially viable, fully electric vehicles".
Wrong on two counts, they are Japanese not Australian and they are not the first!
Of course the Australians probably can't afford to line the correct pockets.

I will say it again. Non of this is about reducing pollution. It is all about money and how to transfer it from the common people to the big businesses and to a lesser extent the governments. From the government point of view it goes like this. Government: How can we raise more money without taxing ...

A carbon trading scheme will not reduce carbon emissions.
It creates no incentive for producers to reduce output.
It will simply involuntarily move money from the pockets of the people to the buckets of business and government.

Your just a scaredy cat Johny http://forums.aeva.asn.au/smileys/smiley36.gif A battery drill on lowest clutch setting should be fine if you take your time. It is possible they are trading using a name registered to another party as well. Electric Transport Australia can be found in the Australian Business Register, details do not match the names and addresses you have provided. ABN: 73 435 005 361

Just a guess, I think you should be seeing pulses on the outputs. Do you have a part number? Something like this. ------ ------ ------ |_| |_| You need a meter on frequency range or a CRO, maybe put your meter on AC Volts and see if there is a change when you rotate the motor. Hall ef...

I read an article yesterday that stated that Very Fast Trains were fast becoming a preferred mode of transport in Europe. To the point where some shorter air routes are just about extinct. One significant issue mentioned was that the carbon footprint of the trains was about 1/4 that of equivalent ai...

Very tricky...after all it is CAN not RS232.
CAN has a physical specification and a protocol specification.
RS232 is physical layer only.
By the way somewhere in my archives I have a bunch of code written in Borland C that implements Modbus over RS232. Is it likely to be any use to you?

X1/9 is a great idea.. I had a Series II. But they are really hard for parts - well so is every FIAT. Plus X 1/9 is heavy about 1,000 kg
Mine was a Series I. About 860kg, there was plenty of opportunity to reduce weight. I had plans but never got that far....renovated my house instead.

Yes the little Fiat's are my Italian Love affair. I am 51 and owned about 30 of them in various forms, 125,124, Spyders, 500. My favourite woudl be the little 500, My brother and I have had between us, 600, 850, 2300 sedan, 2300S coupe, X19 all have been a lot of fun (and work). Would love to have ...

Fiat 850 nice, my brother had one with a 903 motor in it. Lot of fun. Others on hear will give you lots of detail, basically it is hard to compare internal combustion kW with electric kW because the needs are different. The only time they really can be compared is in constant speed cruising where th...

T2, improving the motor/inverter system performance by oversizing the inverter is all well and good (in fact, it's great!) but an improved motor/inverter plus a two-speed gearbox is always going to work out even better. I agree. Not all of us want to drag race our cars, so the 0.5 seconds lost duri...

I am not sure that having a gearbox fail and lockup at 110kph on a freeway would be a safe event. I agree that it is extremely unlikely with a properly engineered and manufactured item, but it would only take one occurrence and you would likely lose everything you have. Ask Toyota how much a simple ...
