Victorian Electric Vehicle Trial - DRIVE an imiev

Haha...   ...I find it funny that you mention Nissans Skyline...   ...I currently drive an R33 GTS25t Skyline and have been looking into doing an EV conversion of it for about a year now...   ...but skills and funds are the current roadblocks holding back my EV project... A few quick comparisons bet...

Victorian Electric Vehicle Trial - DRIVE an imiev

As many people who attended the Melbourne Motor Show, I was lucky to give both the i-MiEV and the Nissan LEAF a drive, and I have to say, the LEAF is by far the better car. Family and friends in Japan also feel the same way. My future brother in law plans on getting a LEAF in the next six months or ...

RACING GREEN ENDURANCE

I saw this yesterday. It was the San Fransisco / Vegas / Austun episode. I'm guessing this was the second or third episode. It is being repeated a number of times during the week. I might order a copy of their web site. I'm really interested in seeing the start.

R33 GT-R no motor/gearbox

Hi all, I know I'm breaking the rules a little by not following the proper format, but this isn't my car to sell. A member from Skylines Australia NSW is selling a GT-R without its engine and gearbox and is asking around $10,000. This would make a great EV project for someone that's looking at doing...

IS there a Age limit

IMHO, all L drivers should start in autos anyway unless they grew up on a farm. There is simply enough to deal with with traffic without throwing in clutch work (unless people are too butch to be seen learing on an auto !). Quite a few driving schools are auto only now. I can see your point on this...

Why get an EV?

I live about 20km from work...   ...and then once I'm in the area...   ...I have to drive up to 15km between clients...   ...(most of the time just 2km to 5km between clients)...   ...And I might have at maximum 6 clients in a day...   ...At worst I'm driving up to 115km per day...   ...And the high...

I might have to order it then.

I've got the Seth Leitman & Bob Brant "Build you own Electric Vehicle" and really enjoy it. I've not read it cover to cover yet. Just pick out things that I don't know and read them first.
