Seeing an error page is better than wondering why the site redirected you to the home page.
I've changed the "page not found" page so there's a test which says to click here to go to the home page..
I wonder if anybody would like to help out with the FAQs?

page doesn't exist notification
Hi, I'm the person who put up the new site. Yes, there isn't an FAQ page on it. Yes, there probably should be one. Unfortunately, while I can set up the structure for one, I do not have the time to add the actual FAQs themselves. Would somebody or some people like to do this? Regards, Karl http://ww...

EV Survey
* I don't believe there is actually a question asking about first or second cars. There is a question asking whether a respondent owns a conversion and/or a commercial EV.
* The results of the survey are open to all, so I would expect that the manufacturers would be having a look!
Regards,
Karl

Main page broken
Hello,
Yes, there was a problem then. It was due to a mis-match of requirements of versions of modules. Should be fixed now.
If you see anything like this again, please email webmaster (at) aeva.asn.au.

New Web Site Plan
Hi IVI,
You mentioned Google.com - does that mean you would like to have the search function search the whole web?
Otherwise, there is a search function for the web site in the right-hand sidebar. (It just needs some content to search for..)
Regards,
Karl

New Web Site Plan
No worries, Woody - I've put it on the action list.
It should be a fairly simple operation as http://www.test.aeva.asn.au is the actual site running live - all that needs to happen is for it to be moved into place (which means you can test it now).
Regards,
Karl

New Web Site Plan
The changeover to the new web site is planned for Tuesday, 27 March, 2012. Because this will involve changing some of the domain name information, it might be that the web site, emails, and the forums might go off-line for a short period. This will be temporary and should not last longer than an hou...

New AEVA web site
Hello bladecar, 1/ This was an example poll and is not intended to go onto the real site. Some polling environments allow multiple polls and show a random one to a new visitor. I added this to see if it was the case in this environment. It's not, so I need to look further. 2/ A little-known effect w...

Building the biggest list of EVs charge places
This is a policy question. To me, initially, anyway, I think you can assume that anybody who asks for use of your powerpoint will be an AEVA member, so will be a 'mate' so to speak, so most people wouldn't mind the few cents it would cost. Maybe some sort of 'thank you' might be a suggestion. Some p...

AEVA bulk purchase of EVs
Hello, Considering the coming releases of EVs in Australia (I believe the Mitsubishi is going to be the first cab off the rank), I wonder if it would be possible for AEVA to contact the manufacturers with the view to arranging a bulk purchase? The advantages for the members would be a discount in th...
