Nissan Cube HOT or NOT

- you have to think they are shirking making an attractive ev cause of parts / dealership worries. i mean if they make a simple effective ev - what are you going to go to the dealership for? brake pads and wheel bearings every 50,000km... the odd dead battery... hardly an economic choice for a comp...

working through compliance issues ADRs , NCOP14

I'ts pretty obvious that you guys know far more about this stuff than the people charged with writting NCOP14. I'm going out on a limb here but I really think it's time for AEVA or a body like them to write their own guidelines for EV conversion. The NCOP14 is pretty ambiguous at best and shows a la...

Ugly Technicality

Just a thought, but how about the AEVA writting it's own set of rules/guidelines for the safe building of high voltage EV's? At least that way you give the beurocrats what they want (rules) without giving them the oportunity to put a whole bunch of stupid/impractical rules in there. best the rules a...

LOL...Just kidding!....Thalass I think you are right...renewable energy seems to be well accepted in Tas..Only a short hop to EV's from there. Shame about the red-neck forestry influence though!... But hey I just got red-neck mate of ...

Holden Aust to cap fuel prices

"The company said today new Holden buyers before October 31 would have petrol or diesel prices capped at 99 (NZ$1.22) cents a litre for 20,000 kilometres or two years, whichever came first. The company would pick up the bill between the cap price and the retail price over that period. Holden's execu...

Electric/AEVA/renewable car stickers

I even thought of a spare wheel cover for my V8 Disco that said " I wish I was an electric vehicle www.aeva.asn.au " I'd love a sticker that said that for my smelly Dino guzler! Oh and I agree totaly about the little sticker on the number plate. A great idea and one the local emergency services wou...

Thanks for that Matt,                     that makes perfect sense. As for sports bike performance one bike I was considering using was a VF1000.(Full frame means easy conversion) It had 116HP new. In all honesty how many riders use ALL that power? I had a 750 version of this bike and I rarely used ...

A 55kW baldor motor will probably rip you commodore in half, strip every tooth in your gearbox and melt the diff. I assure you a 15-18kW motor would get you leaping off the line. . http://forums.aeva.asn.au/smileys/smiley3.gif http://forums.aeva.asn.au/smileys/smiley3.gif http://forums.aeva.asn.au/...
